Yes - but only if it's appropriately treated or made from weather-resistant species. Our standard smooth planed timber is best used indoors or in covered outdoor areas. For external use, consider treated or hardwood options and apply grain sealers or finishes.
While planed softwood timber can be used for light structural applications like stud walls and framing, for heavier loads, treated or graded structural timber may be more appropriate. Always consult your building regs or structural engineer.
