While often referred to as fireproof plasterboard or fire proof plasterboard, it’s important to note that no plasterboard is completely fireproof. These products are correctly described as fire resistant plasterboard, contributing to fire performance when installed correctly.

Applications for Fire Rated Plasterboard

Fire plasterboard 12.5 mm is commonly used for standard fire-rated partitions, while 15mm fire rated plasterboard is often specified where enhanced resistance is needed.
