Ultra fast
Ultra fast delivery, technically superlative company, their products are light years ahead of all others. Unbelievable prices. I have been in construction for nearly 70 years now and am still working every day. This company is why I keep getting up in a morning. Thank you dear sirs/ Madam for making life easier
Great Speedy service
Great speedy service. OSB boards arrived 1 week ahead of schedule. Driver asked where he could unload rather than just unload. Would definitely recommend.
The delivery was exceptional
The delivery was exceptional. We were expecting it on 23rd, we got it on 22nd. It was put in the exact spot we needed it to be put.
Competitive Price and Fast Delivery
They were very helpful when choosing the products that I wanted to order and they were fast at delivering. I was particularly impressed that they telephoned us afterwards to ensure the lintel arrived safely which is very unusual.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, most non combustible boards can be cut and fixed similarly to plasterboard, though some (like calcium silicate boards) may require carbide-tipped tools due to their density. Always use PPE when cutting (mask, goggles), follow manufacturer's guidelines for fixings and use rust-resistant screws or brackets for fire-safe installations.
Fire rated boards are reinforced with non combustible materials such as glass fibre, vermiculite, or calcium silicate, giving them enhanced fire resistance. Unlike standard plasterboard, they withstand fire for 30–120 minutes (depending on spec), comply with Euroclass A1 or A2 fire ratings and are required in buildings where fire compartmentation is critical. Use trade fire retardant boards instead of standard plasterboard in all high-risk areas.
They’re not mandatory in all cases, but non combustible materials are essential in high-rise buildings (over 18m per UK regulation), external wall systems with insulation or cladding, escape routes and fire protection zones, public and commercial spaces with high footfall. Armstrong offers a wide range of fire rated boards to suit your build’s compliance needs.
Absolutely. Our non combustible boards are compatible with both timber frame systems (with correct fixings) and steel frame systems (SFS) like in cladding or partition walls.
