Ultra fast
Ultra fast delivery, technically superlative company, their products are light years ahead of all others. Unbelievable prices. I have been in construction for nearly 70 years now and am still working every day. This company is why I keep getting up in a morning. Thank you dear sirs/ Madam for making life easier
Great Speedy service
Great speedy service. OSB boards arrived 1 week ahead of schedule. Driver asked where he could unload rather than just unload. Would definitely recommend.
The delivery was exceptional
The delivery was exceptional. We were expecting it on 23rd, we got it on 22nd. It was put in the exact spot we needed it to be put.
Competitive Price and Fast Delivery
They were very helpful when choosing the products that I wanted to order and they were fast at delivering. I was particularly impressed that they telephoned us afterwards to ensure the lintel arrived safely which is very unusual.

What are paving circles?
Paving circles are an additional feature in the garden to create attractive centrepieces that bring character and a unique look to the space.
At Armstrong Cheshire we sell a variety of patio circle kits that give you the option to form new patterns and shapes in your outdoor paving. The natural stone circles are easy to use and are not labour-intensive, adding a whole new dimension to your garden.
What are circular patios used for?
You can use patio circles to create a standalone feature that is a focal point in your garden. Position a table and chairs on top as a place to escape and relax outside for a while, or use it for alfresco dining during the warmer months of the year. Some households use them as a part of a patio stepping stone path or incorporated into a winding pathway. People who love to garden also use round paving slabs as a base for large centrepiece trees. There are several different ways you can make use of the patio circles to freshen up the garden and make it look and feel like no other.
You can search our range of square paving kits on our Patio Paving Kits page.
How do you lay a patio circle?
Laying a patio circle involves the following clear steps:
Measure and Material Selection: Measure the diameter and location of the circular patio.
Choose the material for the project.
Radius Measurement:
Attach a string to a pounded metal stake at the centre point.
Spray out a circle on the edge of the string using marking paint.
Excavation:
Dig the area to a depth of 6 inches.
Ground Preparation:,
Dampen the excavated ground.
Gravel Base:
Tamp a 1-inch layer of gravel until a compacted base is achieved.
Paver Installation:
Start laying pavers from the centre outward.
Edging Installation:
Install edging around the patio.
Joint Filling:
Fill the joints between the pavers with sand.
What materials do your circular paving slabs come in?
At Armstrong we are always looking for new and exciting products that our customers can use in and around their homes. Our patio circle kit collection is available in various colours and styles, so you can easily find the right one to suit your tastes.
For example, we have the Aurora Paving kits in antique grey that are based on the design of the large Sun Circle, while we also have the Catherine Wheel in barley and Cathedral Paving styles in weathered York and barley tones. We stock the Bowland Stone Paving product range, widely recognised as one of the highest-quality paving circle kits available today, including the standout Bowland Stone Aurora Circle.
Whether you own a large or small garden, we have a kit to help bring out the best in the space. Some circle patio kits are designed to create a fixed pattern, while others allow for more creative freedom to form your own shapes. It’s one of the most cost-effective ways to transform your outside space without spending much money, establishing a feature that will stand the test of time against the elements.
