Regularised timber is timber that has been processed to have a uniform shape and size. This means that the wood has been sawn and planed to remove any irregularities and ensure that each piece of wood has consistent dimensions. Regularised timber is often used in construction, particularly in the framing of buildings, as it is easier to work with and can be more efficiently installed than irregularly shaped timber.
We have one of the largest ranges of timber lengths, dimensions and grades available to buy online.
The variation you require will determine the exact lead time and delivery method.
Most orders arrive within 3-4 days, the maximum is 7 days. Please get in touch before you order if you need a specifc delivery date.

Some orders are delivered on our own vehicles based in Leicestershire and Cheshire. We also use carriers including Yodel and Tuffnells. For some sizes and locations we use regional distributors.

Regularised for Consistent Builds
This timber is regularised to ensure uniform sizing across every length. Consistent dimensions help maintain straight lines in framing, battening, and fencing work. It also improves compatibility with fixings and standard spacings on site.
Planing all round creates smoother faces and eased corners. This reduces sharp edges and splintering when handling or cutting. It also makes marking and fixing more accurate during installation.
Treated for External Durability
The timber is pressure treated using Tanalith E or a similar preservative system. This treatment provides protection against rot and fungal decay.
Versatile Construction Timber
This section size is widely used for framing, fencing rails, battens, and general construction work. It suits both domestic and light commercial projects. The regularised profile helps achieve cleaner finishes where alignment matters.
Coverage and Weight
Each linear metre provides approximately 0.05m² of surface coverage on the 50mm face. This allows simple take-offs when planning material quantities. With an estimated weight of around 1,110g per metre, handling remains manageable on site.
