The Manthorpe range of Drop Down Loft Hatches are designed to help prevent draughts with fully fitted draught seals that secure on 3 points to minimise the airflow through the hatch.

The drop down series has fully removable insulated lids (562 x 726mm) to give you open access to the loft, useful if you are moving a large number of boxes into your loft space. This has a twist action catch feature that engages the frame in 3 places to provide a secure, draught sealed fit.

All our Manthorpe loft hatches come with a pole attachment and are finished with a white door, easy to clean, and have a finely textured finish and classic design to suit all decors. These are an ideal complement to our range of 2 & 3 section loft ladders that do not come with an integrated loft hatch.

How Do You Fit The Loft Access Door

The drop down loft door can be fitted easily by one person. Before installing the loft access door, prepare a suitable opening to ensure that there is a gap of at least 100mm between any obstruction or wall and the edge of the opening.
