What you get: a durable plastic assembly built to withstand outdoor conditions and the pressure of stored water. The water butt connector features a female BSP outlet, enabling direct attachment to existing threads on a compatible container, or the option to mount through a hole for upgraded or retrofitted installations. This versatility makes it suitable for both new builds and retrofit projects without heavy modifications.
Installation options: - If your barrel has a pre-existing female thread, simply screw the connector into place for a secure, leak-minimising connection. - If there is no thread, you can fix the connector by drilling a hole, then inserting the connector from the outside. Remove the back nut and one washer, place the device through the hole, and secure with the washer and nut on the inside. This ensures washers are positioned on both sides, creating a reliable seal.
The In-Line Soft Touch Valve provides smooth, controlled operation with a ¾" BSPM inlet and outlet. Manufactured from durable plastic, it resists corrosion and is lightweight for easy handling in confined spaces. The soft-touch mechanism allows easy, precise flow regulation, helping you manage rainfall capture and distribution with confidence while minimising the risk of leaks when closed.
The MDPE Straight Joiner (20mm to ¾" BSP) complements the kit by bridging 20mm MDPE piping to a ¾" BSP fitting, enabling clean, secure connections within your existing irrigation or storage system.
