MDPE Tee Compression Fitting, 20mm to 1/2" BSP Male, offers a simple, reliable way to branch a 20mm MDPE water line. Designed for tradespeople and builders, it suits domestic water supply, irrigation, and light industrial piping where a 90-degree branch is required. This MDPE compression tee splits flow from a 20mm MDPE line to a 1/2" BSP Male outlet. The 90-degree angle lets you create a clean branch without changing the main run, helping to keep installations efficient on-site. With a PN10 pressure rating, the fitting is suitable for systems up to 10 bar (approximately 1 MPa or 145 psi), aligning with typical domestic and irrigation requirements. Key features and benefits:
- PN10 rated: handles up to 10 bar, giving you a clear specification for pressure allowance in water supply and irrigation runs.
- MDPE material: offers resistance to corrosion from chemicals and other substances found in residential and industrial environments, helping extend pipe life.
- Leak-free joints when properly installed: the compression connection is designed to seal without leaks when tightened to the correct specification.
- Durability: MDPE fittings are noted for long service life and the ability to withstand temperature variations and mechanical stress.
- Versatility: suitable for water supply, irrigation, and various fluid transport applications within MDPE systems.
- Cost-effective and easy to install: designed to provide a straightforward, tool-friendly connection that doesn’t require specialist equipment. Practical considerations:
- Ensure the 20mm MDPE pipe is clean and undamaged, and that the 1/2" BSP Male thread on the branch is clean and compatible with your downstream fittings.
- The fitting is intended for PN10-rated MDPE systems, so confirm your network’s pressure requirements before installation.
- For reliable performance, follow standard on-site practices for MDPE compression fittings to achieve a true, leak-free joint. In summary, this MDPE Tee Compression Fitting combines a durable MDPE body with a 20mm to 1/2" BSP male branch, delivering a practical, reliable solution for branching MDPE water lines in homes, gardens, and light industrial setups.

All of our C16 and C24 graded timber is regularised
Regularised timber is timber that has been processed to have a uniform shape and size. This means that the wood has been sawn and planed to remove any irregularities and ensure that each piece of wood has consistent dimensions. Regularised timber is often used in construction, particularly in the framing of buildings, as it is easier to work with and can be more efficiently installed than irregularly shaped timber.
We have one of the largest ranges of timber lengths, dimensions and grades available to buy online.
The variation you require will determine the exact lead time and delivery method.
Most orders arrive within 3-4 days, the maximum is 7 days. Please get in touch before you order if you need a specifc delivery date.
Delivery charges vary by postcode. To find out the delivery charge, add the item(s) you require to your basket and select CALCULATE SHIPPING at the bottom of the page.
Some orders are delivered on our own vehicles based in Leicestershire and Cheshire. We also use carriers including Yodel and Tuffnells. For some sizes and locations we use regional distributors.
If you'd prefer crane offloading rather than tail lift vehicle offloading for your brick order then this service is available for the majority of bricks that we sell. Charges are shown at checkout.
For deliveries of less than 6 packs then Taillift offloading is normally a more cost effective option
