The MDPE Straight Joiner 40mm is a compression fitting for joining 40mm MDPE pipes in a straight line. It’s a practical, cost-effective choice for plumbers, builders and maintenance teams working on domestic water, irrigation and light industrial piping projects.
Designed for reliability, the fitting carries PN10, rated up to 10 bar (approximately 1 MPa or 145 psi) at standard conditions. MDPE provides good chemical resistance and durability, making the straight joiner suitable for water supply, irrigation, and, where MDPE PN10 fittings are used, controlled gas distribution in appropriate systems. The compression connection uses an olive and nut to seal without welding, enabling straightforward hand-tightening and a secure joint when properly installed.

To install, ensure pipe ends are cut square and deburred, slide the olive onto the pipe, insert fully into the joiner, and tighten the compression nut until the joint seats.
