An MDPE 32mm Straight Joiner is a compression fitting that links two 32mm MDPE pipes in a straight line. Designed for tradespeople on water, irrigation and light industrial projects, it provides a quick, reliable straight connection without heat or solvent welding. Key features
- Pipe size: 32mm MDPE
- Connection type: compression with threaded seal to form a leak-tight joint
- Pressure rating: PN10 (up to 10 bar)
- Material: MDPE — durable, flexible and resistant to common chemicals
- Configuration: straight joiner for direct, in-line pipe runs
- Applications: suitable for water supply, irrigation, gas distribution and general MDPE piping Why it matters
This straight joiner enables straightforward on-site layouts where two pipes must run in a straight line. The PN10 rating means it’s suitable for typical domestic and light commercial water and irrigation mains at standard temperatures. The MDPE material offers inherent chemical resistance and a degree of flexibility, helping the system tolerate minor ground movement or temperature shifts without compromising joint integrity. Practical use
Ideal for replacing damaged sections or extending MDPE networks where a clean, direct join is needed. It’s well paired with 32mm MDPE pipe in drinking-water and irrigation schemes, and can be positioned in accessible locations for future adjustments or maintenance. Because the joint is compression-based, it can be disassembled if you need to alter routing, subject to ensuring the pipe ends remain clean and square. Installation notes
Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for MDPE compression fittings. Ensure pipe ends are clean and cut square, then insert fully into the fitting and tighten to the specified torque to achieve a reliable seal. After assembly, test the system for leaks under normal operating pressure. This approach helps prevent pressure drop and water loss across the straight connection. This 32mm MDPE Straight Joiner delivers a practical, cost-effective solution for direct pipe runs in water and irrigation schemes, offering dependable performance across typical UK conditions.

All of our C16 and C24 graded timber is regularised
Regularised timber is timber that has been processed to have a uniform shape and size. This means that the wood has been sawn and planed to remove any irregularities and ensure that each piece of wood has consistent dimensions. Regularised timber is often used in construction, particularly in the framing of buildings, as it is easier to work with and can be more efficiently installed than irregularly shaped timber.
We have one of the largest ranges of timber lengths, dimensions and grades available to buy online.
The variation you require will determine the exact lead time and delivery method.
Most orders arrive within 3-4 days, the maximum is 7 days. Please get in touch before you order if you need a specifc delivery date.
Delivery charges vary by postcode. To find out the delivery charge, add the item(s) you require to your basket and select CALCULATE SHIPPING at the bottom of the page.
Some orders are delivered on our own vehicles based in Leicestershire and Cheshire. We also use carriers including Yodel and Tuffnells. For some sizes and locations we use regional distributors.
If you'd prefer crane offloading rather than tail lift vehicle offloading for your brick order then this service is available for the majority of bricks that we sell. Charges are shown at checkout.
For deliveries of less than 6 packs then Taillift offloading is normally a more cost effective option
