An IBC kit that combines a S60X6 end cap with a built‑in 1" BSP female thread and a 25mm MDPE straight joiner, designed for tradespeople and on‑site installers working with liquid containment systems. What’s in the kit
- 1 x IBC S60X6 Cap with 1" BSP Thread (BSPF)
- 1 x MDPE Straight Joiner 25mm - 1" BSPM Key features
- Robust plastic construction suitable for IBC applications and routine handling on site
- Cap has a built‑in 1" BSP female thread, providing a simple connection point for standard fittings
- MDPE straight joiner links 25mm MDPE pipe directly to the cap via a 1" BSP male thread
- MDPE fittings are commonly used in water supply and irrigation, offering durability and chemical resistance
- PN10 rating for MDPE components supports up to 10 bar (approximately 145 psi) under typical conditions
- PTFE tape may be required to achieve a watertight seal on threaded connections (sold separately) Applications and benefits
- Ideal for IBC liquid transfer lines where a secure, leak‑tight connection is needed between MDPE piping and IBC outlets
- Simplifies on‑site assemblies by pairing a cap with a built‑in thread to a straight MDPE joiner in one package
- Suitable for water transfer, irrigation feeds, and other non‑food, non‑gas liquid containment tasks where MDPE fittings are appropriate Installation notes
- Ensure threads are clean and free of debris before assembly
- Apply PTFE tape to the BSP threads if a watertight seal is required (tape sold separately)
- Tighten connections by hand and then with appropriate tools to the manufacturer’s recommendations to avoid cross‑threading or damage Why this kit matters
- It provides a streamlined, compatible solution for connecting MDPE piping to IBC systems without hunting for individual components
- The combination of BSP threads and MDPE connection points reduces the number of joints, potentially lowering leak risk and maintenance time on site
- With clear, standard fittings (1" BSP and 25mm MDPE), the kit supports straightforward sourcing and replacement if components wear or fail Note: All statements reflect standard uses and typical MDPE PN10 specifications documented for these fittings; verify compatibility with your exact IBC model and operating conditions before use.

FAQ
All of our C16 and C24 graded timber is regularised
Regularised timber is timber that has been processed to have a uniform shape and size. This means that the wood has been sawn and planed to remove any irregularities and ensure that each piece of wood has consistent dimensions. Regularised timber is often used in construction, particularly in the framing of buildings, as it is easier to work with and can be more efficiently installed than irregularly shaped timber.
We have one of the largest ranges of timber lengths, dimensions and grades available to buy online.
The variation you require will determine the exact lead time and delivery method.
Most orders arrive within 3-4 days, the maximum is 7 days. Please get in touch before you order if you need a specifc delivery date.
Delivery charges vary by postcode. To find out the delivery charge, add the item(s) you require to your basket and select CALCULATE SHIPPING at the bottom of the page.
Some orders are delivered on our own vehicles based in Leicestershire and Cheshire. We also use carriers including Yodel and Tuffnells. For some sizes and locations we use regional distributors.
If you'd prefer crane offloading rather than tail lift vehicle offloading for your brick order then this service is available for the majority of bricks that we sell. Charges are shown at checkout.
For deliveries of less than 6 packs then Taillift offloading is normally a more cost effective option
