A two‑piece adaptor kit that makes bayonet‑tight connections easier in restricted spaces, designed for tradespeople fitting MDPE water and irrigation lines. Included components
- S60X6 Female - 1" BSPF Adaptor Extended (IBC-EX-S60X6-1BSPF)
- MDPE Straight Joiner 32mm - 1" BSPM (MDPESTR32-1BSPM) What it does and why it matters
The S60X6 Female BSPF adaptor is a Extended design that protrudes from the mounting surface, providing extra room for attaching subsequent components without bending or stressing threads. This is particularly useful in tight conduit runs, enclosures, or where space around the connection is limited. The adaptor is made from durable plastic, offering reliable performance in typical plumbing, irrigation and fluid‑transfer setups. The MDPE straight joiner connects a 32mm MDPE pipe to a 1" BSPM thread, creating a straight, leak‑tight transition. MDPE PN10 fittings are rated to handle up to 10 bar (about 145 psi), making them suitable for domestic and light commercial water applications. The straight joiner uses threaded compression connections to seal without requiring specialised tooling, subject to correct preparation and sealing practices. Key benefits and use cases
- Extended adaptor for easier assembly in cramped spaces: reduces alignment strain on threads and makes it simpler to add extra components after the initial connection.
- Versatile materials: MDPE fittings provide compatibility with MDPE piping used in water supply and irrigation networks, while the BSPF and BSPM threads enable standard connections to a wide range of fittings and valves.
- Durable and practical: designed for recurring use in a variety of environments, with good resistance to common chemicals encountered in irrigation and water systems.
- PN10 rating: suitable for typical domestic pressure systems; always verify system pressure and temperature to ensure compatibility with your project. Installation notes
- Clean the threads and pipe ends before assembly.
- Use PTFE tape on the BSP threads to improve sealing and help achieve a watertight joint.
- Hand‑tighten first, then apply a modest turn with a suitable wrench; avoid overtightening to protect thread integrity.
- For MDPE connections, ensure the pipe is cut square and keyed cleanly before inserting into the MDPE straight joiner’s 32mm side. Ideal for: installation engineers, plumbers, and irrigation installers working with 32mm MDPE lines and 1" BSP fittings in residential or light commercial schemes.

Crane offloading is available as a premium service for some bricks.

All of our C16 and C24 graded timber is regularised
Regularised timber is timber that has been processed to have a uniform shape and size. This means that the wood has been sawn and planed to remove any irregularities and ensure that each piece of wood has consistent dimensions. Regularised timber is often used in construction, particularly in the framing of buildings, as it is easier to work with and can be more efficiently installed than irregularly shaped timber.
We have one of the largest ranges of timber lengths, dimensions and grades available to buy online.
The variation you require will determine the exact lead time and delivery method.
Most orders arrive within 3-4 days, the maximum is 7 days. Please get in touch before you order if you need a specifc delivery date.
Delivery charges vary by postcode. To find out the delivery charge, add the item(s) you require to your basket and select CALCULATE SHIPPING at the bottom of the page.
Some orders are delivered on our own vehicles based in Leicestershire and Cheshire. We also use carriers including Yodel and Tuffnells. For some sizes and locations we use regional distributors.
If you'd prefer crane offloading rather than tail lift vehicle offloading for your brick order then this service is available for the majority of bricks that we sell. Charges are shown at checkout.
For deliveries of less than 6 packs then Taillift offloading is normally a more cost effective option
