The IBC 2” S60X6 – 1" BSPF Extender Adaptor with MDPE Elbow 32mm is a practical connector kit for tradespeople working with MDPE piping. It pairs an extended S60X6 Female - 1" BSPF Adaptor with a 32mm MDPE elbow, giving a two‑part solution that simplifies fittings in tight spaces. What’s in the kit
- 1 x S60X6 Female - 1" BSPF Adaptor Extended
- 1 x MDPE Elbow 1” BSP – 32mm
- The assembly provides a female BSPF thread and an MDPE 32mm elbow for a straightforward, thread‑to‑thread connection Construction and compatibility
- Built from durable, high‑quality plastic designed to withstand routine use in plumbing and irrigation environments
- S60X6 Female BSPF thread ensures compatibility with standard BSPF components used in UK piping systems
- The MDPE elbow is suitable for connecting MDPE pipe to the adaptor, supporting typical water transfer and irrigation setups
- MDPE PN10 rating indicates suitability for systems up to 10 bar (approx. 145 psi), aligning with common domestic and light commercial pressures
- PTFE tape may be required to achieve a watertight seal on threads; tape is sold separately Applications and use cases
- Ideal for plumbing projects, garden irrigation, and light industrial water transfer where MDPE piping is used
- The extended adaptor design provides extra reach beyond the mounting surface, making it easier to attach additional components without stressing threads
- Useful in installations where space is constrained, or where components need to be assembled away from a wall or enclosure before final connection Installation tips and considerations
- Check thread cleanliness before assembly; remove debris to ensure a good seal
- Apply PTFE tape to the BSPF threads if a watertight seal is required; ensure tape is wrapped in the direction of the thread
- Tighten connections by hand first, then snug with appropriate tools to avoid over‑tightening or cross‑threading
- Use the MDPE elbow to create the necessary angle or direction change without forcing a misalignment Why this kit matters
- A two‑piece solution reduces the need to source separate components, saving time on site
- The extended design adds flexibility for installations in cramped spaces while protecting thread integrity
- Built for durability in typical UK outdoor and shed environments, with materials chosen to tolerate weather and chemical exposure common in piping work This kit is well suited to tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts who value reliable, easy‑to‑install MDPE connections that perform consistently in everyday water‑handling tasks.

We offer all bricks with a tail lift offloading service, Please familiarise yourself with the information below.
Crane offloading is available as a premium service for some bricks.

All of our C16 and C24 graded timber is regularised
Regularised timber is timber that has been processed to have a uniform shape and size. This means that the wood has been sawn and planed to remove any irregularities and ensure that each piece of wood has consistent dimensions. Regularised timber is often used in construction, particularly in the framing of buildings, as it is easier to work with and can be more efficiently installed than irregularly shaped timber.
We have one of the largest ranges of timber lengths, dimensions and grades available to buy online.
The variation you require will determine the exact lead time and delivery method.
Most orders arrive within 3-4 days, the maximum is 7 days. Please get in touch before you order if you need a specifc delivery date.
Delivery charges vary by postcode. To find out the delivery charge, add the item(s) you require to your basket and select CALCULATE SHIPPING at the bottom of the page.
Some orders are delivered on our own vehicles based in Leicestershire and Cheshire. We also use carriers including Yodel and Tuffnells. For some sizes and locations we use regional distributors.
If you'd prefer crane offloading rather than tail lift vehicle offloading for your brick order then this service is available for the majority of bricks that we sell. Charges are shown at checkout.
For deliveries of less than 6 packs then Taillift offloading is normally a more cost effective option
