Key features
The S60X6 Female BSPF adaptor is designed with an extended profile to protrude further from the mounting surface, providing additional clearance for attaching further components or equipment. This helps reduce strain on threads and makes installations in confined spaces more straightforward. The adaptor is moulded from durable plastic to withstand regular site use and environmental exposure.
The MDPE valve is compatible with 20mm MDPE piping and uses a 1/2" BSPM thread on the valve body. MDPE PN10 fittings are rated to withstand up to 10 bar (approximately 145 psi), making them suitable for typical domestic and light commercial water services. The valve offers simple shut-off control to manage flow within an MDPE run. Note that PTFE tape may be required to seal the threads and achieve a watertight connection; tape sold separately.
