A compact MDPE straight connector kit for irrigation and water-supply runs. Designed for tradespeople, it combines a 20mm MDPE straight to ¾" BSP, an inline ¾" BSPF valve, and a 16mm barbed straight joiner to deliver reliable, easy inline connections without specialist tools. What’s in the kit
- 1 x MDPE Straight 20mm – ¾” BSP (MDPESTR20-34BSPM)
- 1 x In-Line Valve ¾” BSPF (HCV34BSPF001BLACK)
- 1 x Joiner for ½” irrigation pipe with ¾” BSP thread (STR16B34BSPM) Key features and benefits
- MDPE fittings with compression connections: These fittings allow a tight, leak-free seal without requiring specialist crimpers or tools, helping you complete runs faster on-site.
- PN10 rated: Engineered to withstand up to 10 bar (approximately 145 psi), making them suitable for typical garden, irrigation, and light-commercial water-supply applications.
- In-line soft-touch valve: The valve provides smooth turn on-off operation with minimal effort, helping you regulate flow precisely in drip and irrigation circuits. The ¾" BSP female thread makes it compatible with a wide range of fittings and hoses.
- Swivel valve design: The valve can be adjusted or rotated without detaching the adapter, simplifying installation in tight spaces or awkward configurations.
- Durable construction: MDPE components are recognised for their chemical resistance and resilience to weathering, contributing to a longer service life with reduced maintenance.
- 16mm barbed straight joiner: The included barbed connection for 16mm irrigation piping enables straightforward, secure transitions between pipe sizes, supporting tidy, reliable layouts. Typical use cases
- Garden irrigation systems, drip lines, and border sprinklers where a direct, straight run is required.
- Water-supply lines in sheds or outbuildings where quick installation and reliable seals matter.
- Temporary or semi-permanent line extensions where a controllable inline valve is beneficial for maintenance or seasonal use. Who this is for
- Plumbers, landscapers, and DIYers fitting MDPE networks who value durable fittings, straightforward assembly, and components designed for ease of use in the field. Practical notes
- Ensure clean, undamaged pipe ends before assembly. The compression connection types minimise the need for clamping or crimping and support leak-free joins when installed per standard MDPE practice.

FAQ
All of our C16 and C24 graded timber is regularised
Regularised timber is timber that has been processed to have a uniform shape and size. This means that the wood has been sawn and planed to remove any irregularities and ensure that each piece of wood has consistent dimensions. Regularised timber is often used in construction, particularly in the framing of buildings, as it is easier to work with and can be more efficiently installed than irregularly shaped timber.
We have one of the largest ranges of timber lengths, dimensions and grades available to buy online.
The variation you require will determine the exact lead time and delivery method.
Most orders arrive within 3-4 days, the maximum is 7 days. Please get in touch before you order if you need a specifc delivery date.
Delivery charges vary by postcode. To find out the delivery charge, add the item(s) you require to your basket and select CALCULATE SHIPPING at the bottom of the page.
Some orders are delivered on our own vehicles based in Leicestershire and Cheshire. We also use carriers including Yodel and Tuffnells. For some sizes and locations we use regional distributors.
If you'd prefer crane offloading rather than tail lift vehicle offloading for your brick order then this service is available for the majority of bricks that we sell. Charges are shown at checkout.
For deliveries of less than 6 packs then Taillift offloading is normally a more cost effective option
