The Tenmat FF102/50 is a 6mm thick ventilated cavity fire barrier designed for horizontal installation in external wall cavities up to 50mm wide. Its rigid intumescent strip expands rapidly under heat, sealing gaps up to 44mm to block fire and smoke spread. The aluminium foil casing facilitates easy handling and installation, making it ideal for ventilated rainscreen and cladding systems. This barrier maintains airflow under normal conditions and requires no maintenance post-installation.

Tested to BS EN 1363-1 and ASFP TGD19 standards, the FF102/50 provides up to 120 minutes of fire integrity and insulation. It holds third-party certification from IFC and is CCPI verified. Each strip measures 1000mm × 75mm × 6mm and weighs approximately 0.88 kg. Installation involves stainless steel fixings at 250mm centres. Suitable for masonry, timber frame, and SFS constructions, it offers a durable, compliant solution for passive fire protection.
