This 4 mm Tenmat FF102/25 ventilated cavity barrier provides essential fire protection for building cavities. It expands rapidly under heat, sealing ventilation gaps to prevent flame and smoke from spreading through wall cavities. At just 4mm thick and measuring 1 Meter in length at 35x1000mm, it fits neatly into narrow spaces.
The barrier features fire-rated intumescent (swells when exposed to heat) materials, meeting stringent UK fire regulations. It's specifically designed for use in external cladding and façade systems requiring effective ventilation and fire resistance. Weighing approximately 0.5 kg per piece, it’s easy and safe to handle on-site.
Installation is quick, requiring only standard fixings, with minimal disruption. The barrier maintains airflow during normal conditions yet provides immediate sealing in fire situations.
