Moisture-resistant performance

This plywood sheet is built to handle damp and marine-adjacent environments thanks to its BS 1088 rating. Its layers of hardwood and waterproof bonding help guard against swelling and delamination when correctly sealed after installation.
With no core gaps and a consistent veneer structure, it delivers strong screw-holding and stable performance even in humidity-prone applications.

External and structural suitability

The panel is suitable not only for internal joinery but also for external use when the faces and edges are sealed. Many suppliers list the sheet as usable for external unprotected exposure under Class 3 conditions. It can be used for flooring sub-structure, boat interiors or exterior cladding once properly finished.

Precision and quality assured

Manufactured from selected hardwood veneers and bonded with high-performance weather/boil-proof resin, this plywood sheet meets rigorous standards. It is free from visible core defects and provides a flat, smooth surface suitable for finishing, veneering or laminating.

Coverage and fit

A full sheet measures 2440 mm × 1220 mm and is 12 mm thick, offering approximately 2.98 m² of coverage per sheet. At a weight of around 17.9 kg (17,900 g) the panel remains reasonably manageable while retaining structural strength.

Finishing and installation guidance

For best performance seal all edges and faces with an appropriate primer or varnish to protect the panel and extend its service life. Ensure cutting and fixing tools are sharp and correct for hardwood ply; pre-drill where necessary to avoid breakout. This material is compatible with both traditional joinery and modern boat or vehicle applications.
