FAQ
All of our C16 and C24 graded timber is regularised
Regularised timber is timber that has been processed to have a uniform shape and size. This means that the wood has been sawn and planed to remove any irregularities and ensure that each piece of wood has consistent dimensions. Regularised timber is often used in construction, particularly in the framing of buildings, as it is easier to work with and can be more efficiently installed than irregularly shaped timber.
We have one of the largest ranges of timber lengths, dimensions and grades available to buy online.
The variation you require will determine the exact lead time and delivery method.
Most orders arrive within 3-4 days, the maximum is 7 days. Please get in touch before you order if you need a specifc delivery date.
Delivery charges vary by postcode. To find out the delivery charge, add the item(s) you require to your basket and select CALCULATE SHIPPING at the bottom of the page.
Some orders are delivered on our own vehicles based in Leicestershire and Cheshire. We also use carriers including Yodel and Tuffnells. For some sizes and locations we use regional distributors.
If you'd prefer crane offloading rather than tail lift vehicle offloading for your brick order then this service is available for the majority of bricks that we sell. Charges are shown at checkout.
For deliveries of less than 6 packs then Taillift offloading is normally a more cost effective option

Designed for Moisture-Rich Environments
This marine plywood sheet is engineered for environments exposed to frequent moisture, humidity or wet usage. Its 25 mm thickness gives substantial rigidity, reducing flex and improving structural integrity. It excels when used in areas such as decks, external joinery, floors or boat interiors where stability under load and wet conditions is needed.
Compliant with BS1088, the board features a void-free core lay-up and high-quality hardwood face veneers. This ensures consistent performance with reduced risk of swelling, delamination or warp when correctly sealed and installed.
Marine-Grade Certification
Meeting the BS1088 standard means this plywood is manufactured to exacting specifications for marine use: hardwood veneers only, WBP glue, and no core voids. The certification assures that the sheet is suitable for high-moisture or marine-adjacent use, supporting structural applications where lesser plywood might fail.
Hardwood Construction & Finish
The sheet is built from tropical hardwood veneers bonded using waterproof adhesive, delivering strength, stability and a durable finish. The hardwood face layers allow for direct finishing—staining, varnishing or painting—making it ideal where appearance matters as well as performance. When used externally, sealing of all faces and edges is essential for long-term durability.
Coverage and Fit
With the standard size of 2440 × 1220 mm and thickness of 25 mm, this board offers ample area for use in larger scale panels, structural floors or heavy joinery work. The consistent thickness supports proper alignment with framing, fixings and finishing systems. Its large sheet size helps reduce joints and installation time for large surfaces.
Multi-Purpose Application
This marine plywood is ideal for boat interiors, structural floors, exterior joinery, decking underlay, wet-room substrates or heavy-duty furniture assemblies. It integrates seamlessly with standard fixings, adhesives and construction systems provided it is sealed and installed to recommended practice. When properly protected, it delivers long-term performance in moisture-challenged environments.
