Birtley HD90 Lintel is designed to withstand even the toughest construction challenges. It is compatible with cavities between 90mm and 105mm in width with an outer leaf of 100mm and inner leaf of 100mm respectively. For maximum effectiveness, a solid, fully jointed blockwork infill to the inner leaf is a must. Birtley employs post-fabrication hot-dip galvanisation that offers 50% more zinc protection than other approved coatings. Supergalv coating extends the lintel's lifespan. Birtley standard 100mm heavy duty cavity lintel set new standards in energy efficiency by surpassing SAP default value by as much as 55% in thermal bridging.
