FAQ
All of our C16 and C24 graded timber is regularised
Regularised timber is timber that has been processed to have a uniform shape and size. This means that the wood has been sawn and planed to remove any irregularities and ensure that each piece of wood has consistent dimensions. Regularised timber is often used in construction, particularly in the framing of buildings, as it is easier to work with and can be more efficiently installed than irregularly shaped timber.
We have one of the largest ranges of timber lengths, dimensions and grades available to buy online.
The variation you require will determine the exact lead time and delivery method.
Most orders arrive within 3-4 days, the maximum is 7 days. Please get in touch before you order if you need a specifc delivery date.
Delivery charges vary by postcode. To find out the delivery charge, add the item(s) you require to your basket and select CALCULATE SHIPPING at the bottom of the page.
Some orders are delivered on our own vehicles based in Leicestershire and Cheshire. We also use carriers including Yodel and Tuffnells. For some sizes and locations we use regional distributors.
If you'd prefer crane offloading rather than tail lift vehicle offloading for your brick order then this service is available for the majority of bricks that we sell. Charges are shown at checkout.
For deliveries of less than 6 packs then Taillift offloading is normally a more cost effective option

Dual-Veneer Decorative Finish
This board carries real oak veneer on both faces, giving a uniform decorative appearance suited to visible interior work. The balanced finish offers consistent grain and colour, allowing high-quality results when stained, varnished, or oiled. Its surface supports professional-grade presentation for furniture, panelling, and fitted joinery.
The MDF core provides stability during machining, reducing the risk of splitting or irregular edges. This structure allows precise routing, smooth sanding, and clean shaping for detailed design work. The board performs reliably under typical indoor conditions when sealed and finished correctly.
Engineered for Interior Fabrication
The sheet is designed for dry interior environments and adapts well to furniture components, shelving, and decorative wall systems. Its consistent construction supports repeatable machining and accurate dimensional work. Installers benefit from predictable behaviour when cutting, bonding, and fixing across varied build settings.
Sanding and Finishing Quality
Both veneer faces sand to a smooth and even surface, reducing preparation time before applying finishing products. Oils, varnishes, and stains absorb uniformly due to the controlled veneer grade. The panel supports sharp detailing and clean transitions at edges, giving refined visual results in completed installations.
Coverage and Application Planning
Coverage scales directly with the chosen sheet size, with each square metre of material providing 1m² of usable working area. This makes planning straightforward for both small and large interior projects. The 6mm thickness offers strength for light structural use while maintaining a manageable weight profile.
Versatile Integration in Interior Systems
This board integrates effectively within cabinetry frameworks, wall installations, and furniture assemblies. Its dual-veneered faces support applications where both sides of the panel remain visible. The combination of stability and decorative quality makes it suitable for professional and domestic interior work.
