FAQ
All of our C16 and C24 graded timber is regularised
Regularised timber is timber that has been processed to have a uniform shape and size. This means that the wood has been sawn and planed to remove any irregularities and ensure that each piece of wood has consistent dimensions. Regularised timber is often used in construction, particularly in the framing of buildings, as it is easier to work with and can be more efficiently installed than irregularly shaped timber.
We have one of the largest ranges of timber lengths, dimensions and grades available to buy online.
The variation you require will determine the exact lead time and delivery method.
Most orders arrive within 3-4 days, the maximum is 7 days. Please get in touch before you order if you need a specifc delivery date.
Delivery charges vary by postcode. To find out the delivery charge, add the item(s) you require to your basket and select CALCULATE SHIPPING at the bottom of the page.
Some orders are delivered on our own vehicles based in Leicestershire and Cheshire. We also use carriers including Yodel and Tuffnells. For some sizes and locations we use regional distributors.
If you'd prefer crane offloading rather than tail lift vehicle offloading for your brick order then this service is available for the majority of bricks that we sell. Charges are shown at checkout.
For deliveries of less than 6 packs then Taillift offloading is normally a more cost effective option

Built for Moist Conditions
These plywood sheets are designed for settings exposed to repeated moisture and humidity. At 6 mm thickness the panels remain lightweight yet deliver marine-grade construction for mobile, marine or lining applications. They are suited to boat interiors, van or caravan sheathing, wet-room backs and external joinery when properly sealed and finished.
Manufactured under BS1088 specification, each sheet features minimal core voids and hardwood face veneers. That quality helps avoid warping, swelling or delamination when installed according to best practice.
Marine-Grade Certification
Complying with BS1088 means these boards meet strict marine-grade standards: hardwood veneers throughout the lay-up, weather-and-boil-proof adhesive bonding, void-free core construction and rigorous performance under moisture challenge. This gives specifiers and builders confidence in their use in demanding environments.
Hardwood Build & Finish
Constructed from tropical hardwood veneers bonded with high-performance adhesive, the sheets offer strength, stability and a finish-ready surface. The hardwood face veneers accept stain, varnish or paint, making them suitable where visible finish matters. However, for outdoor or continuously damp use, all faces and edges must be sealed to ensure long-term durability.
Coverage and Fit
Each sheet measures 2440 mm × 1220 mm with 6 mm thickness, offering broad coverage and compatibility with standard fixings and framing. The pack of two enables paired installations or larger panel runs without excessive joints. Use of full-sheet format helps reduce cutting, waste and labour time.
Versatile Application
This marine plywood pack is ideal for internal linings, boat cabins, exterior joinery (when sealed), van or caravan conversions, wet-room finishes and panel backing in humid or damp settings. It integrates easily with standard timber frameworks, fixings and finishing systems. With correct sealing and installation, the product delivers reliable performance in moisture-challenged environments.
